Jim Carrey Says Yes to Everything Including Bungee Jumping

Yes ManJim Carrey says yes to everything in his upcoming film, Yes Man. One of the things he says yes to in the film is bungee jumping. Carrey told MTV MTV that bungee jumping is the kind of thing you have to do if you want to keep up with Britney Spears.
"They were gonna do this on a green screen where I would hang on in front of the camera and they would bounce me up and down. And I said, 'I'm gonna be there, man!' " Carrey smiled. "This is what you've gotta do to compete with Britney Spears!"
Jim Carrey also talked to the AP in the video below about the bungee experience. Take a look:

Dane Cook Doesn't Like His Movie's Poster

My Best Friend's GirlComedian Dane Cook is not happy about the movie poster for his upcoming comedy My Best Friend's Girl, which he stars in with Kate Hudson, Alec Baldwin and Jason Biggs. He blogged ten things that are wrong with the heavily photoshopped movie poster on his MySpace page. Here are some highlights.
3. The Stare.
My character apparently has fallen in love with a strand of Kate Hudsons hair. Kate's mannequin is desperately in love with the inside of my right ear while Jason is half stunned, half corsage.

4. Lips:
It looks like I'm wearing Maybelline Water Shine Diamonds Liquid Lipstick. My characters name is now Winter Solstice and I'm a hooker with a heart of gold. Jason is my floral carrying pimp, while Kate is my first trick!

5. Fashion:
My character is sporting a very high collar I mean damn they should be snow capped at that altitude. It's going for the vampire lurking in the castle basement vibe. An Olympic pole vaulter would have a tough go clearing that collar. I'm also able to turn my head comfortably 180 degrees, because I was raised in an abandoned barn by a family of owls.
Read all ten of Cook's poster complaints here. The movie poster is seriously odd - especially that vampire collar. (via Huffington Post)

Pretend That You Love Another Stakeout

Another StakeoutDo you remember the movie Another Stakeout? If you said no you aren't alone. Funny or Die wants you to know it and love it. Or at least pretend that you do. They are trying to turn the movie into a cult hit.
Come join us and help us turn this movie into a giant cult hit for absolutely no good reason. Register and vote 10/10 for the movie. Get into heated trivia arguments about the movie. Quote lines, question other Stakeout heads' commitment to the movie. Let's forward this e-mail and flood the site to the point where there are Another Stakeout festivals and conventions and midnight showings with people in costume saying lines along with the movie ala Rocky Horror Pic Show. And remember, we are Another Stakeout fans. Not Stakeout fans. The first one was pretty good but like the Godfather 2 (or is the Godfather 2 like Another Stakeout?) director John Badham got it right the second time around. AS 2 forever!!
It's a funny idea but it might not work because AS 2 is not memorable. To be a cult film a movie has to be memorable otherwise it is too much work to try and turn it into a cult hit.

Spider-Pig, Spider-Pig

Spider PigThe Simpsons Movie has made a killing at the box office. Move goers must have been eager to watch the animated sitcom on the big screen. As Jay West writing for CanWest explains the new Simpson's movie contains the Spider-Pig joke which has become an Internet classic.
There's a scene where Homer holds the pig so it can put hoofprints on the ceiling and sings, "Spider-Pig, Spider-Pig, he does whatever a Spider-Pig does," to the tune of Spider-Man. It's gloriously moronic and it encapsulates the genius of Homer: cultural acuity with a lobotomy. Homer brings to selfish life a stupidity so playful it stands both as satire and, well, stupidity.

He is all Three Stooges rolled into one, but with doughnuts.
It is moronic and funny but The Simpsons isn't always the Three Stooges with doughnuts. They also focus on current events and popular culture. There was that segment from the Halloween special last year that satirized the Iraq War - you can see a clip here.

But back to Spider-Pig. He has become an Internet phenomenon. Google already has 800,000 results for spider-pig and YouTube has nearly 500 videos containing the words spider pig. If you have never heard the joke you should be able to by playing one of those videos.
